Feet . . . We walk on them.
I've been working on a lot of feet lately. These poor feet have had plantar fascistic, plantar neuromas, broken bones (both post surgical setting and no surgical setting), 'poor arch support', and other just-plain hurt spots.
The foot is an interesting thing. It has lots of bones. They are suppose to move when we walk. That sounds simple.
The problem is the bones are not moving...at least some of them. Then the bones that do move can't move properly. They move too much or in the wrong direction. That puts pressure and stretching on all the wrong things. Ouch. That makes pain.
So, feet have turned out to be more simple to correct that ever seemed before.
Yes, there is still the relationship between the legs and pelvis and the walking gait. It is all one big picture. So, we look at that along with the smooth dance that should be going on in that skin package called the foot.
